To be clear, I'm not saying people don't have the right to still be mad after a poorly thought-out apology tour. Just be sincere about it. Give yourself time to think, listen and address the actual content before commenting, which is what forcing commenters to watch all the way through would do.

Forgot to mention another function of this would be to help prevent pile-ons in case of public outrage. Apology videos—whether sincere or not—are always full of comments saying "not good enough" before people have even had time to watch the video. They just want you to know they're still mad.
