Bluesky was never going to be exclusive to a few communities forever. As long as marginalized people find safe spaces those seeking to destroy us will follow. When you see shitheads start to show up here: REPORT, BLOCK, MOVE ON. Starve them of the attention they desperately crave.

Bluesky's Feeds don't promote people based on what gets the most engagement. We, the users, get to decide what content gets shared with others. That means white supremacists, misogynists, and queerphobes can't use rage-bait to spread their influence unless we let them.
I remember hearing about some research done on one of the older social media but for the right sites that ended up dying out. The conclusion basically came down to, "No one likes it because theres no libs to trigger." They cant exist without us. I think about that a lot.
