ok very minor complaint but am i the only one who really hates the trend of tournaments renaming gold bracket to diamond, silver to gold, etc.😭feels like its completely devalued the terms and made understanding old results harder than it needs to be when they couldve just used "iron bracket"
The new CCA #compsplatoon circuit format is simply the greatest format ever made and I wasn't involved in making it. This upsets me greatly. Imagine SAC circuit, but each qual is a layer cake / FLUTI 1-day tourney. When I say they are genuinely one of the last good online tournaments, this is why.
i saw this post yesterday and it reminded me of an idea i had a while back: there was a post on OatmealDomes blog in which he mentioned datamining in S2 by reading & editing network packets in LAN games. if this is still feasible in S3, it should be possible to make a basic API for LAN events&prod
Shoutouts to TOs for just banning people who are assholes, we really need to do that more and the steps taken during Neon Wail tonight are great ones in the right direction and I hope to see more of it
