I actually had such a profound night of reading and talking about Hazar Elbayya’s “My Olive Tree” with my kid, then William Dalrymple’s “From The Holy Mountain” with my cat, that I marked it in my calendar and made plans to write about it, myself. Until I started scrolling.

Quite the thing to witness the US/the west decide for the world that sabotaging the production of electronic devices & turning them into bombs to detonate amidst civilian populations is perfectly acceptable warfare. All downhill once you excuse & abet genocide, I guess.
