I once again recall the magas I overheard (in a hospital waiting room!) talking about how they need to start killing people, the (slurs) and their enablers. These folks did not know each other previously, they were just strangers in a waiting room. Bonding over their dreams of political murder.
Where I think this gets tricky—& what I’ve seen in my students, at least—is the sense of distrust in big media sources that leads people to believe they’ll only see the true gravity of a situation by watching raw footage of horrible things. We need better legacy media coverage that people can trust.
