fwiw I got my covid booster two weeks ago and it laid me out flat for a day which suggests to me that a. it works and b. I was definitely gonna get covid, a disease that we know crosses the blood-brain barrier, without it, so act accordingly

this booster made me tired for a couple weeks. took a while to be fully back online. i think this one works more bc it’s not a booster per se, it’s a whole new vaccine and is supposed to cover multiple strains. so yeah, it’s the top shelf stuff.

Thank you for reminding people! When I got covid (I caught it outside at a winter market), I was 1 month out from being vaccinated. I should have been my peek safety yet it still triggered long covid. So my theory is if I hadn’t been newly boosted I’d have had a stroke by now or worse.

(I’ve already had it once and I don’t want it again, it sucks)
