Every argument with car people about bikers devolves into how "cyclists break the law" But when it comes to cars it's suddenly "drivers should be allowed to break the law"

I don't like the legal gray area of it all. And it feels like the other side of what some manufacturers are doing in terms of selling you "DLC" to unlock hardware functionality that you basically already have. There's gotta be a compromise to this idea.
