my pedantry really is kicking in now to know what qualifies as flying (moving through the air, directed movement, self directed etc)

What would an Uncompromising Flying Object would look though?

Anything is an unidentified flying object if you're bad enough at identifying things.

A ghost is immaterial and should not be considered an object. An undead flying object would actually be a catapulted zombie.
