Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to remember and reflect on the painful history of residential schools and the enduring impact on Indigenous communities. This day calls for action, understanding, and a commitment to the path of healing.
Am I always in 100% agreement with him? Nope. But I realize that cities need to operate in the real world, with a federal government that drops in during election time and then leaves the scene, and a provincial government that wishes they were back in the 1860s without an urban centre to deal with.
