there are people smarter than myself who can properly delineate the difference between tools and services, but imo a key part is the ability for a tool to be used/adapted in ways beyond the creator's vision, whereas a service grants you access to a constrained set of results.
Oh, look, a footnote with a poem, I wonder who left that there.... BRANE. (Hymn of Breaking Strain, Kipling)
I have moved on to "Are we saying anything Ron Westrum didn't say?" (yes, but I needed a co-author to remind me)
I was trying to figure that! I thought at first it was up by Coon Rapids, but I don't think that's off-leash.
Brane: <poetry?> No, brane. This is a book about the software development lifecycle and systems thinking and feature flags and universal design. Behave. Brane: How are those not poetry? Ya got me there, brane.
Asking everyone to contribute and taking all the stake holders into account makes the soup richer, even if every constituency is only bringing part of the broth. Brane: I know a great poem about that, where's my Marge Piercy books!? Me: Brane, we put in the three sisters, ok?
I'm sorry for your loss.
Gavin Newsom, why are you such a fucking failbot?
My kingdom for a picture that shows how a jacket might fit across the shoulders if your posture is something other than "louche".
The fit on those pants should be prosecuteable. Adult women wear work clothes! Grarrrr
