The well-documented issues aside, from a game design and writing perspective I thought Pokémon Scarlet/Violet was awesome. Truly a big leap for the series and I'm honestly super excited for the next thing. Also, the soundtrack slaps
It's been a weird year for games for me. I started several that I intended to finish but didn't. I wasn't even that thrilled about TOTK despite loving BOTW. But I'm enjoying every minute of Pikmin 4. To me it's this year's KirbyATFL - a game I knew I'd enjoy but exceeded my expectations in every way
