True. In my mind, it’s sort of like late-term Reagan, where the theory is he was just dragged around and did what his handlers said because of dementia. Trump is told to go out and play the hits and just sort of goes along. Just my theory.

I think this was a more purposeful pivot following the debate. When they lost all those donors, they realized Trump himself is the campaign’s biggest liability.

Trump’s campaign DOES have a strategy: to hide their candidate while making it seem like they aren’t. The Trump campaign strategy is completely unconventional because the candidate is debilitated, not because it’s ill-considered. It’s a sound, crass strategy.

It's so obvious US leaders don't care about the mental health of children when they only target non-US owned social media, like TikTok is somehow 'unique' in that regard. Plus, it's the social platform few of those people actually use. It's not like Facebook is addictive or harms mental health... 🙄
