Your current system is incredibly right wing already though. Your carceral system, workers rights, extractivism, reproductive rights, foreign policy etc. Centrists can quite happily integrate all sorts of extremist R/W policies.

The day after Hurricane Helene hit, Buncombe County’s assistant emergency services director called the devastation “biblical.” The phrase has been widely repeated. While it’s understandable that a religious reference would resonate, we think it serves more to conceal than illuminate. 1/?

Should also add, it's not just labour. Extractivism, ecological harm, violent policing etc. The UK projects all of these things onto external populations, generally along the lines of racialised, colonial thought.
