Your current system is incredibly right wing already though. Your carceral system, workers rights, extractivism, reproductive rights, foreign policy etc. Centrists can quite happily integrate all sorts of extremist R/W policies.

Should also add, it's not just labour. Extractivism, ecological harm, violent policing etc. The UK projects all of these things onto external populations, generally along the lines of racialised, colonial thought.
