There’s an internal awareness of its societal value in both my current and previous institution, and I’m grateful to my different HoDs support. Without a mechanism to fund that though there’s not a lot of external pressure in the way there is for teaching and research, so it’s easily squeezed.

Fab day today exploring approaches to reading at one school, followed by some rich discussions with a range of HoDs on their curriculum thinking at another. Variety is indeed the spice of life 🙂
