Na prática, é isso que o uso de IA faz no mercado de trabalho Pra quem é de fora da área, na tradução hoje existe um serviço chamado MTPE (pós-edição/revisão de tradução de máquina), que é só o nome chique de "corrigir tradução de IA" Pagam mto menos e é mais trabalhoso que traduzir do zero, claro

Just read an article by a literary translator against the use of AI (good), sparked by her having received a request for MTPE and being horrified by it (puzzling). My conclusion, unlike what she intended, is that a large community of lit translators is largely unaware of what has been happening >
Unsurprising to any translator who has been asked to do "MTPE" (short for "machine translation post-editing," which doesn't even make sense, but obviously they can't call it "fixing machine translations," since that gives the game away), which pays less for more work because you're only "polishing."

Say no to machine translation post-editing (MTPE) jobs. Those machine-produced texts that they give you to "proofread" are so literal and so flat that you end up translating from scratch anyway… but for less pay "because the AI already did most of the job". It's exploitative.
Well you would be, but fortunately for the poor sods doing MTPE, most of the agencies using this model just don't give a toss about quality.
