Global Tyranny Man! He cycles his way through the Welsh Valleys with a large board on his back but beyond the Global Tyranny headline, the writing is much too small to read. He’s been doing this in all weathers for at least six years. Today, I stepped out of the cinema and there he was.
Traffic signals create 4-5 times more delay than cars or cycles on the driving trip plotted, with cars & cycles creating roughly equal delays according to the calculation method (cars *could* be a lot more, as explained). mastodon.online/@jitensha_on...

I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens with climate misinformation. Make it sound like reasonable inquiry, add an irrelevant or misleading graph of something, mention solar cycles or the Medieval Warm Period or CO2 is plant food or anything else that sounds vaguely scientific, and voila!
I want it to review all enterprise contracts, analyze and map data, synthesize laws and regulations, predict future needs, compare vendor offerings against potential home grown solutions, propose options and develop procurement, migration, implementation plans that cut years off current cycles.
Would love to see a social leasing scheme similar to that proposed by Possible here. And if incentives for electric vehicles came back in some form, would be great to see e-bikes/adapted e-cycles in tge mix

In government contracting, 'Agile' just means the deadlines are unrealistic and the requirements change often enough that, no matter how fast you are, the goalposts are always faster. It's actually just waterfall with cycles between 2 weeks and 3 months. Also known as "client saw a TED talk".
This isn't showing up in the media reports, but the CDC notes that the drop isn't statistically significant. And the surveys were taken between 2021 and 2023, when even fewer people were taking Ozempic. www.cdc.gov/nchs/product...
I've heard that 100% represents Apple's minimum requirements for new batteries but most ship with greater capacity. A new phone might have 105% but display as 100% as it slowly degrades over charging cycles until it goes under the mark and starts to suddenly go down (weeks sound too fast tho).
