As Crime Pays But Botany Doesn't says. #KILLYOURLAWN. Native plants need less water, and lead to a healthier yard eco-system and less pests!

A pause in Barnaby posting to say I've been busy in the garden lately 🥺🌱 finally converted the whole covered lawn space and can now cover a new area. #killyourlawn

I am waffling between just letting the ten ton surprise just happen or putting up a sign on the front lawn that says “Pull up in September and peep THIS. Tell your green desert to take a seat over there. All the way over there. Over the horizon.” #KillYourLawn

I let the violets and dandelions take over and the bright pops of color look great. Also, with spring being as wild as it has this year, having an early food source is important for wild bees. The brown business is mulch over fabric to create a no-till flower bed. #KillYourLawn
