#PSA#RetailWorkers#ServiceWorkers#LaborDay is not for sales. Sales are COUNTER t'the spirit of Labor Day. Labor Day is for WORKERS, and NOT fer anyone t'get a deal on stuff they don't need. Labor Day is NOT fer makin laborers work harder than they already do. Thank you.

I wish there were still market pressures & incentives to be building better website technology. Pax Reactus seriously has me down. We should be weaving deeper ServiceWorkers and growing into custom elements. The industrialized scale is such a damper, so much less interested in possibilities.
I wonder if the import-maps serviceworker polyfill would work for ServiceWorkers loading modules? I want to hope yes it can recurse to other registered handlers? github.com/joeldenning/...

Ah! ServiceWorkers do have type module support. caniuse.com/mdn-api_serv... , that page was talking about background service workers which have restrictions in running remote code so no import() maybe.
Jesus 2024 and *importScripts* is still how we do things in #ServiceWorkersdeveloper.chrome.com/docs/extensi...#wintercg on this. This is such hideous bullcrap.
ServiceWorkers. Live DOM routers. I should try quic.
because it's not just "cookies", it's stuff like localStorage and IndexedDB and ServiceWorkers and granted site permissions and obviously outright browsing history and, yes, each user has to have their own independent cache. by design, an Incognito window should never save any of this stuff to disk
