I didn’t know this book exists. It’s coming out soon, apparently.
To me this an utterly fascinating story for numerous reasons. So many questions! Was this fraud? Why did he do it? Who were the impostors? What was their experience like? Did they feel they were cheating? Can it be said this was still conceptually Doom’s performance even though he wasn’t onstage?
At some point (I’m not exactly sure when), MF Doom began to plan and execute shows with impostors. He hired someone who looked like him (an actor? another rapper?), to go onstage and perform as Doom. In the mask, doing the voice. I think there may have been an entire tour like this(?) Not sure.
I’m @ $95/500 as of this repost, and I’m thankful for all the help I’ve received so far. I’m gonna spend all weekend hauling ass to catch up on work. Please keep spreading the word and help if you can! ❤️
I’m trying to raise $500 ASAP while waiting for my next few freelance invoices to get paid, so that I won’t have to choose between paying rent on time and getting supplies for my sons and myself through the weekend. Any help is appreciated! ❤️ PayPal.me/houseofackrite C: $happynomad V: @Sean-Padilla

They made a mistake.
Started casually/sporadically texting with an old high school friend. It was nice. I have not seen her since high school. I suggested we have coffee. She told me she's reluctant to meet me because "I've gotten so old." She literally does not want me to *see* her. This reaction has saddened me.
That’s miserable writing. Really bad taste combined with a paucity of imagination.
People say “This is what happens when you exclude LGBTQ.” Which, fair enough, true. But could it be part of WHY gays are resented by conservatives? Because they seem to enjoy creativity and aesthetics while conservatives can’t?
Isn’t it fascinating that conservative aesthetics are relentlessly ugly? www.instagram.com/reel/DAXI8HgIfys They can’t access beauty or nuance or style. They can’t access poetic or abstract expression. I think it’s a cognitive thing? Has anyone has done a study on this at the neuroscience level?
