This has been such an absolute ongoing nightmare for people with ADHD.

This report describes adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, treatment, and use of telehealth for ADHD services.
Every month is a struggle for my son.
I'm currently unmedicated because of difficulty accessing adhd meds. I'm scraping by but my executive function budget is fully drained by noon each day. Then it's the Darkness™ until I get to hide in my office and play some video games to recharge
there is a trick for this which is extremely legal but which i would rather not post if anyone still has this issue
I don't medicate mine, but one of my friends does and she's been struggling to get her meds too. I suspect it's why I've barely heard from her in months.
I was on it for a while during 2021 and went off because getting it refilled was impossible. The depression was no joke and I don't want it again. (Also went off it because while I have ADHD, my work focus problems were there was no work, I was sitting playing video games 8 hours a day on meds)
I wonder how many people have died bc of this. I know I'm more prone to accidents and not thinking through impulsive choices when I can't get my meds. So how many car accidents, just for starters, has this shortage caused? What's the DEA's death count just from *this* shortage *they* caused?
The level of executive function required to access the medication I need to *help my executive function*....
And it’s literally all the DEA’s fault! A completely manufactured and avoidable crisis
I do not have the spoons to call the local pharmacies to confirm supply of my teenager's focus meds again.
I feel lucky to have found a pharmacy in nyc that always has the medication in stock. Only problem is it’s never ever generic and refills cost more than the co-pay for my most recent craniotomy.
