Just got a woefully incompetent review. In the paper, I hypothesized sig. corrs btwn X & 2 conceptually-related variables. Found sig. corr for 1, but didn't find it for the other so reviewer suggested I file drawer it; specifically, cut all mention of the variable b/c results were nonsignificant.
