One of the claims I've seen downplaying the influence of misinfo is that most ppl aren't "falling for" misinfo, they're merely agreeing w/ claims that align w/ their priors. But, that's recursive, imo. What info informed their misinformed priors in the first place, if not misinfo?

Results are interesting but the associations should be taken w/ a big grain of salt. Bivariate correlations don't stabilize until N approaches 250. This study has N=143. No power analysis? This paper shouldn't have been published w/o a properly powered study 2 replication of study 1's findings.
