This is the fundamental paradox of AI: if it's actually helping you, there is no way to know when it is no longer helping you. Put another way: if you can supervise it effectively enough to catch its mistakes, you probably didn't need it in the first place.

interesting to think about the "irreducibility of the sign value of the image" in memes. great example for this is how "my brother in christ, you made the sandwich" evolved over time -the specific lexicon of these jokes being built out of unorthodox framings and relationships between signs, neo-Dada
