It’s -7F at the Ice Hotel near Kiruna, Sweden as the sun sets at 1:30PM today. When we visited there in February, highs were around 30 and it stayed light enough to see until 4PM. Our experience would have been MUCH different in weather like this.
Let me go further. These recent spurious SLAPP suits aren’t meant to win. Even if they draw a MAGA ratfucjkng judge it will eventually get tossed on appeal. They are meant to intimidate every reporter, editor and publisher contemplating an Elon/X story. And I bet it’s working.
