Even if COVID were well and truly over, I would NEVER go on the subway without a mask again in my life. I don’t get sick anymore! I know that’ll change when the toddler starts school but…I can’t remember the last time I caught a bug. Why would anyone not want this???

I have always opposed the death penalty for this basic reason: the risk of executing an innocent person is too high a price. And executing a person the state *knows* to be innocent just takes into a realm of sheer horror.
A lollipop/sucker during takeoff and landing will help them pop their ears during the big altitude shifts. It can be really painful for small children who don’t know how to do that.
