Absolutely agree, professional learning needs to be different. Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation is so much more effective than 3 year high level school improvement plans. PDIA focuses on the tiny grains & grows outward. This alongside habit formation is a key focus of our support for schools.
This is probably the biggest challenge in CPD. We often look for system wide solutions when in fact it's the amalgamation of small improvements that will have sustained impact.
