None of the three I’ve seen in Oxon has shown any interest in flocking with other species. The bird yesterday completely ignored a Lotti flock with Chiffchaffs that passed through is chosen tree
Always have my eyes/ears open during the autumn trapping in the wood, thinking "surely this year, maybe today?!" But never had one there. I wonder how many actually occur *in* woodlands? (observer bias aside).
