I'm sorry. We have an ammunition plant not far from here, and I'm sure it's spewing out all kinds of nasty stuff, but I can't sense it. I didn't like the pollen plumes when I moved up to the East Coast, but I've never had to deal with wild chlorine!

This is the fundamental paradox of AI: if it's actually helping you, there is no way to know when it is no longer helping you. Put another way: if you can supervise it effectively enough to catch its mistakes, you probably didn't need it in the first place.

Polling is going to be so weird. It was weird with Obama and Hillary because of race and gender. It's always been weird with Trump because no one wants to admit they're going to vote for him, now more than ever, presumably.

It might be counterintuitive, but somewhere that hasn't been hit in the last few decades is going to suffer wildly disproportionate losses as compared to somewhere with more regular hurricanes, like South Florida or the NC coast.

Yep. Don't want to wrap up that PhD? It's harder when there's a big check being offered right away.

Most of the people that are exceptions leave the show, because their characters don't work in that environment.

"The rich are richer than ever and we don't care that you're all getting sicker and sicker until you die" isn't a winning message, and thankfully Harris isn't running with it.
