I'm on a weeks-long research spiral, which means that in pursuit of a very nerdy goal (design plausible exoplanet for story) I am learning stuff about star formation and geomagnetism and weather systems and now I just want to grab people and yell "DO YOU KNOW HOW THE JET STREAM WORKS, IT'S COOL!"
if the geomagnetism of the poles suddenly switched again tomorrow; would you would you be a "the north pole is in the hemisphere formerly known as south" person, or a "North is north and south is south, but the polarity swapped" person?
