Dioptase (turquoise crystals) and mimetite (yellow crystals).
Conichalcite and celadonite (both are green).
Linarite (blue) on barite.
Hyalite opal (green fluorescence) and lemon opal (yellow fluorescence). No lead or arsenic in either but at least the hyalite may have trace amounts of uranium contributing to the glow.

Eighteen rocks found on a riverbank, spread out over a red towel with pink polka dots. Each rock varies in size, shape, type, and color.
A collection of riverbank rocks - each ranging in color, shape, size, and type - suspended in a mason jar full of clear vinegar. The jar has the word "Ball" embossed in cursive on the front, and is sealed shut with a Prego pasta jar that says "Inspired by the regions of Italy." Grasping the jar is the photographer's (my) hand over a blurred vinyl wood floor.
