I don’t want to give this “exhibition” anymore publicity, but I find this carnival celebrating serial killers currently doing the rounds utterly disgusting. Not a single mention of the human beings they destroyed - but you can see the weapons used and where the bodies were kept.

Today a senior exec from Taylor & Francis replied confirming that T&F journal articles *are* and will continue to be provided to its AI partners for model training, with *no opt-out*. Guess we know where we stand now - academics are creators of data for value generation by Big AI and publishers

This generative ai situation is completely insane. Every major tech company is spending billions of dollars so that they can lose money running "features" that can't seem to do anything that people will pay for, and to do so it requires violating copyright and burning the planet
